Late Spring & Summer Classes!

 

Savage Art Studios is offering a wide range of adult and youth classes during our late spring and summer sessions.  Beginning in May we have some great new offerings for students wishing to develop their figure drawing and painting skills with:

 

CLOTHED FIGURE STUDIO WITH MARY ALBURY NOYES (IMAGE LEFT)

Mary is has been a celebrated medical illustrator, figure and portrait artist for the past 30 years.  We are thrilled that she also calls SAS home for her fine art studio.  Students will learn anatomy of the human form and capturing likenesses in a relaxed, fun environment.  Three - 5 week sessions are scheduled to begin May 5, June 16, and July 28 and are just $150 per session.  To sign up online see more details now!

 

GIVE YOUR DRAWINGS LIFE WITH LOREN CHANTLAND (Gable by Loren Chantland Right)

Looking to learn the basics of drawing or to advance your existing skills to the next level?  Either way, this class offers new or advanced artists a great opportunity to learn how to draw in a way that will make your works come to life.  Loren Chantland is a long time illustrator and fine artist.  His work has been featured in national publications and he has a number of awards for his exciting aviation paintings.  Loren's next session begins Tuesday Evening May 6th through June 3rd.  This 5 week class is just $05.  To register or learn more here.

Figure drawing from life has long been a tried and true method of the masters to develop advanced drawing and painting skills.  The human form provides artists with a unique challenge and opportunity to work at an advance level.  Mastering the human figure takes time in front of a model.  The applications of the skills learned are limitless.  We provide adult artists with a relaxed location to work from life.  Artists control this group and give each other critiques to advance each others skill levels.  Figure Sketch group is scheduled Monday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 weekly.  We will be offering three - 5 week sessions beginning on May 5, June 16, and July 28 for $75 per session.  Group size will be limited from 5 to 8 artists total.  For more information or to sign up on-line check details now!
