If asked
what is most memorable about Patricia, the answer would be easy. First
her Loose and Lively style of painting that grabs the viewer and
second her wonderful sense of humor. Patricia has been creating her
whole life. She was one of the lucky ones who knew from a very young
age that she wanted to be an artist. After raising her family, she
received her classical training at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art
in Philadelphia where she studied in watercolor, oil and
pastels. Patricia is currently best known for her floral still life's
but is also accomplished in landscape, classical still life and
portraiture.
Patricia and her husband Lee have lived in various locations in the US but were able to return to their home state of Minnesota several years ago. Formerly Patricia was an instructor at the Minnesota River School of Fine Art where she also had her studio. Currently Patricia is a Signature Owner of Savage Art Studios where she oversees all class development and is Instructional Manager. She continues to teaches at SAS where she specializes in teaching floral still life in an impressionistic style for which she is best known. Patricia has won many prestigious awards for her paintings. Most recently she has been honored to be added to the 2004 edition of 100 Ways to Paint Flowers & Gardens. |
