Rosalie Wahl,
the first woman to be appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court,
served as a justice from 1977 to 1994. She is noted particularly for
her contributions in the areas of racial equality and gender
fairness as well as legal education. A woman of courage, clarity and
compassion, Rosalie Wahl has given a great deal to the people of our
state.
