Beginning to Advanced Students Welcomed
New to Pastels? - We can provide new pastel students with art materials for your first 6 week session for $30 extra (includes pastel paper, use of charcoal, pastels and other materials as needed)

We’ll study together the landscapes of the American and French Impressionists, discovering the techniques they used to hold their paintings together and make them flow. While working on our paintings, we’ll learn how to create different levels of distance within the landscape because of how atmosphere and light affect objects within the landscape, and how color achieves these effects. Open to any level of painting experience.
