Using these six guidelines and adjustments to improve your photography can benefit both beginning and experienced camera buffs and help you make your photos more interesting and artistic.  Along with the six tips we'll review camera operation, useful accessories and compositional aspects.  Bring cameras and some previous photographs to the first meeting.  Be prepared to shoot an assignment and have your images critiqued.

INSTRUCTOR:  DARRELL TANGEN

Darrell has been teaching photography to all levels of people from beginners to professionals for over 30 years.  He has extensive knowledge of both the film and digital sides of photography.  He has a Masters Degree in Education and a degree in Photographic Technology & Technical Communications.  Darrell has been a Freelance Photographer for over 15 years and has nature photos published in the Lake Superior, Photo Marketing Association and Seasons by Rebecca Magazines.  His photos have won awards in numerous venues and have been hung and sold in galleries around the Twin Cities.  He presently teaches photography and imaging software at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota.
