Intermediate to Advanced students will work to capture a likeness and character of live clothed model quickly in the medium of your choice. Students will have two six-hour days of intensive painting under natural light with a clothed model. Emphasis will be on seeing shapes and values accurately, essentials in capturing a likeness. Pencil, charcoal, watercolor or oil. |

Workshops & Classes with Louise: Instructor - Louise Gillis Noted oil painter and watercolorist Louise Gillis is an accomplished representational artist, who studied at the University of Minnesota and completed a four-year program at Atelier LeSueur in Excelsior with additional studies at Atelier Lack in Minneapolis. Louise is an experienced oil and watercolor instructor who currently teaches at the Edina Art Center.
