Taking Better Photos! Darrell Tangen (TAP) Having trouble getting good photos of those events and places you visit? Does that digital camera have a lot of confusing adjustments? Then this is a course for you. This is a beginning to intermediate level course to help you with the two aspects of taking better photos; learning the controls on your camera and learning how to photograph with better composition. This course will help you learn which adjustments on your camera can radically affect the quality and success of your photos. Learn good composition techniques or seeing artistically. We’ll discuss and practice some guidelines to make your photos more dynamic. Bring your cameras (digital or film) and be ready to shoot for an assignment and get your photo critiqued. Expect to spend one evening on a field trip to practice the techniques learned in class. Even those with some photo experience will come away with new ideas and a fresh look at the way they take photos.
